Dell Curry to keynote The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club Dinner

August 17, 6:30 pm, at the Embassy Suites, 460 North Cherry Street, Winston-Salem

Dell Curry was the first ever Charlotte Hornet and remains the Hornets’ all time leading scorer. An Alumnus of Virginia Tech, he is the first Hokie basketball player ever to have his jersey retired.

Throughout his career he has been a supporter of youth programs like The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs and in 1998 established the Dell Curry Foundation, a youth oriented program that operates five learning centers in Charlotte providing educational training and counseling.
Curry and his wife Sonya have three children, two time NBA MVP Steph of the Golden State Warriors, Dallas Mavericks star Seth, and daughter Sydel, who plays volleyball for Elon University.
