The 32nd Annual Give a Kid a Coat is Here!

Since 1987 The Salvation Army has been collecting coats, hats, and gloves to donate to children in need during cold weather. 2019 marks the 32nd year of Give a Kid a Coat and the goal remains the same; No child should be left in the cold. Partnering since the beginning with A Cleaner World, we are now accepting donations of new and gently used coats. You may drop them off at any A Cleaner World location, where they will be cleaned and given minor repairs if needed. The Salvation Army will pick up the coats and sort them for distribution, which will take place Fridays from 9 am until noon at our Boys & Girls Clubs 2100 Reynolds Park Road and 2850 New Walkertown Road, our Administrative offices at 2290 Premier Park Lane, and our Kernersville Worship & Service Center at 770-D Park Centre Lane in Kernersville.

No registration or appointment is necessary to pick up coats, simply a need. We also will distribute coats to adults in need. Distribution will continue through Friday, February 15. Follow our Facebook page and tune into our media partners,FOX 8 WGHP television, and 1075KZL and Rock 92 radio.

Don't leave any child out in the cold this Winter. Give a Kid a Coat!
