The Triad Holiday Food Drive Is Back

The kids are just back in school but it's already time to think of the holidays to come. And our neighbors and friends who may not have enough to eat. For the 28th year in Winston-Salem, and the 30th year in Greensboro, The Salvation Army is proud to partner with FOX 8 WGHP and Old Dominion Freight Line for the Triad Holiday Food Drive. From now until the drive culminates in the Food Drive Concerts in Greensboro on December 15th and in Winston on December 16th, businesses, church groups, community organizations, schools, civic groups, and individuals will be collecting non-perishable food items to stock the food pantries of Salvation Army outlets across the Triad. Last year, over a half million items of food were collected. Some of that food is being used today to help feed families in need.
