Project CATCH: 
Community Action Targeting Children who are Homeless

Once we receive a referral a Project CATCH case manager will contact you within 24-48 hours to assess needs and set up an initial meeting to schedule to find out the needs of you and your children.

Services include:

  • Developmental screening to see if child is on track
  • Provide transportation to and from appointments (when possible)
  • Educational assistance: Tutoring, Special Education, Advocating for educational services within school system (attending parental – providing support during meeting with WCPSS),
  • Referrals to specialized service providers regarding mental, physical, & emotional health
  • Help with Child Care
  • Assistance with basic needs: food, clothing, diapers, household items, etc
  • After School Care & Summer Camps

We serve families who are currently:

  • Living in shelters
  • Staying in hotels
  • Temporarily staying with relatives or friends
  • Living in vehicles
  • Living on the streets

To receive services from this program, you must have a referral from one of our partner agencies
