2020 Angel Tree

Adopt An Angel

Please check back in September 2021 for Angel Tree registration information.

Be a part of making children’s Christmas wishes come true by being involved with our Angel Tree! To help
the close to 8,000 children, you may Adopt an angel or you may contribute to the Angel Tree Program online.
You can also purchase clothing items for ages 0-12 years old and deliver them to The Salvation Army
Judy D. Zelnak Center of Hope, 1863 Capital Blvd., Raleigh. Please drop them off Monday - Thursday
8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. TBA.

When you're out Christmas shopping, stop by one of the two main Angel Tree locations to pick up Angels to
adopt for the season. Angel Trees will soon be open at the following locations:

  • Triangle Town Center - upper level Macy's entrance near Reed's Jewelers
  • Crabtree Valley Mall - lower level near the Kanki

*Please email Bashira Seawright if your corporation is interested in adopting Angels or if you want
to adopt more than 25 Angels.

In September, The Salvation Army registered close to 8,000 children in Wake County to be a part of the
Christmas Cheer Program where they will receive new clothing, toys, and stockings. The Angel Tree
specifically focuses on fulfilling the biggest need: new clothing. Be a part of making children's Christmas
wishes come true by being involved with our Angel Tree! Adopt an angel and purchase new clothes and
toys for a child or for a whole family. See below for ways to help a child in need.

*If interested in adopting a Shelter Family, including the mom, please email our Stephen Gruver.

Volunteer at the Angel Trees

Please continue to check back for Angel Tree volunteer opportunities in 2021. Help people adopt angels
for Christmas! Volunteers are needed to staff the two main Angel Tree locations. Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator

Online Angel Options:

If you do most of your holiday shopping online, please contribute to our online Angel Tree. You can provide for children in need without ever leaving your computer.

Host a Clothing Drive

New clothing is by far the biggest need during the Christmas Season. Children in the Christmas Cheer Program are guaranteed new toys, but are not guaranteed new clothing, unless someone adopts them. Help clothe a child in need by hosting a drive to collect new clothing for angels who are not adopted through Angel Tree. Download our Angel Tree Clothing Flyers to get started!

Not sure if you can adopt or host a drive? Even donating a new pair of jeans, one new shirt or new pair of shoes will make a difference!
