Story Update: High School Student group meets goal & helps survivors of human trafficking go to school

Cary High School student group, Humans for Justice, met monetary goal and will present check for The Salvation Army’s anti-human trafficking program, Project FIGHT

The FIGHT against Human Trafficking

Human trafficking is often referred to as “modern day slavery.” It exploits people for the purpose of commercial sex and/or labor through the use of force, fraud, or coercion. The Salvation Army's Project FIGHT works to assist victims of human trafficking, as well as raise awareness of this issue.

Brewers Against Brothels

Project FIGHT Club volunteers are putting together the event, Brewers Against Brothels, to raise awareness and empower men to join the FIGHT again human trafficking! All proceeds will benefit Project FIGHT (Freeing Individuals Gripped by Human Trafficking).
