'Cue for Kids

This year's fundraiser for The Salvation Army Red Shield Club of Raleigh (formerly known as Community Center) is our 'Cue for Kids event taking place Saturday, August 24 at the Stag Club in Raleigh. The event is a pork shoulder cook-off between 1-3 person teams.

Sanctioned NC Pork Council members will be judges as well as a celebrity judge Don Schwenneker from ABC11. Hamilton the Pig, who fans say brought good luck to the Carolina Hurricanes during their playoff run, will also be in attendance.

Our yearly goal is to raise money for the Red Shield Club that offers kids educational, recreational and spiritual resources to meet their physical, social, academic and spiritual needs. Your participation in this event will fund athletic and travel expenses, summer camps and much more for the hundreds of kids this program helps.
