Salvation Army of Wake County in need of volunteers for coat sorting

The Salvation Army of Wake County closed out 2018 with a bang. Through its partnership with WRAL and the Coats for Children campaign, $190,642.00 was raised. This was the 30th year for Coats for Children and was the most successful.

Jiffy Lube is also a partner with WRAL and The Salvation Army and has been collecting coats for SAWC as well since November. Jiffy Lube will deliver three pods of coats and we are asking for volunteers to sort the coats on Monday, January 7 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the warehouse of our administrative offices, located at 1863 Capital Blvd., Raleigh.

If you are interested in volunteering, please email volunteer coordinator Sarah Eavenson.

We thank you for your support and look forward to an outstanding 2019.
