Annual Volunteer Banquet Caps off National Salvation Army Week

May 15 – 21 was National Salvation Army Week and the highlight of the week for The Salvation Army of Wake County was the annual Volunteer Banquet which took place Thursday, May 17 at SAWC Community Corps Center. Volunteers are essential to The Salvation Army serving the citizens of Wake County.

WRAL-TV anchor Debra Morgan was the MC for the event. There were outstanding performances by the Raleigh Army Youth Chorus and the Raleigh Army Band.

Volunteer of the Year: Edith Judge
