Final of three #WakeArmy Coats for Children this Saturday

The Salvation Army of Wake County will hold the last of its three Coats for Children giveaways this Saturday, December 2 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at The Salvation Army of Wake County’s Judy D. Zelnak Center of Hope, 1863 Capital Blvd., Raleigh, NC 27604.

For over 25 years now, The Salvation Army of Wake County has distributed coats to help families prepare for the cold weather. The previous two giveaways took place on October 14 and November 2 at SAWC’s Judy D. Zelnak Center of Hope, and in Fuquay-Varina at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Parents and any adult in the household needs to provide a government issued photo ID and proof that they are a Wake County Resident and the child needs a formal document with both the parent(s) and child’s name on it (such as a birth certificate, shot records, OR Medicaid card).
