Toast Of The Town
Mark your calendar for The Salvation Army’s 23rd annual Toast of the Town! On Tuesday, April 19 at 7 pm, Spartanburg will once again gather to celebrate an outstanding community leader and support the good work of The Salvation Army. One exciting change to note is that this year’s event will be held in the stunning ballroom of the downtown Spartanburg Marriott.
You are invited to join us in an evening of laughter and jabs as we salute Tom Crabtree, co-anchor of the weeknight newscasts on 7News on WSPA-TV. “Roasters” for the evening will include Jimmy Lizer, Andre' Kerr, Doug Williams, and Lamar Richardson. Dinner will be served at the event.
All proceeds from Toast of the Town support youth programs at The Salvation Army Corps Community Center of Spartanburg County. These after-school, athletic, and summer camp programs focus on at-risk youth, education, character building, fitness and health, and spiritualism.
Tickets may be purchased for $65 each or $120 per pair. Use the 'buy tickets' button below or contact The Salvation Army at (864) 576-6670, ext. 104 to reserve your tickets today.
“The Toast of the Town event is more than a fundraiser. It’s an event that will help raise funds to support programs that help shape and save children’s lives. We foster programs that encourage lasting change with a foundation built on love & God.”- Captain Donnie Marvels
