Helping make ends meet
In many communities around North and South Carolina, The Salvation Army can provide financial or material assistance. Since each community is unique, the details of these assistance programs vary between our different commands. Please contact your local Salvation Army for complete details. However, assistance may often take the form of:
- help with utility bills/deposits,
- help with rent/mortgage payments
- help with prescription medications
- providing food for families
- providing clothing
Each local Salvation Army will have different requirements before providing such assistance. These often include, but are not limited to valid photo identification, your social security card, and various supporting documents supporting your assistance claim.
Please do not hesitate to contact your local Salvation Army office for complete details or to schedule a consultation with our staff.
