CAROLINAS MUSIC & ARTS CONSERVATORY

The Carolinas Music & Arts Conservatory is a residential education program held in June through mid-July each year at Camp Walter Johnson. However, due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and the necessary changes to our program schedule, this year’s conservatory will be delivered virtually.

Virtual Carolinas Music & Arts Conservatory 2020

Every young person in our division will have the opportunity to participate in our Virtual Junior and Senior Music & Arts Conservatory. Applications are approved by Corps Officers or Boys and Girls Club Directors. You can find the link to the online registration form below.

Junior Virtual Conservatory (ages 7 – 12)

Monday July 6 – Friday July 10, 2020

  • Monday, Wednesday and Friday
  • NSC TV: a time of worship, fun and the Word
  • Music: Major class learning portals for brass, guitar, percussion and theory. Workshops and special guests
  • Creative Arts: Live virtual dance, acting and visual art classes


Senior Virtual Conservatory (ages 12 +)

Monday July 13 – Friday July 24, 2020

  • Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
  • NSC TV: a time of worship, fun and the Word
  • Music: Major class learning portals for brass, guitar, percussion and theory. Workshops and special guests
  • Creative Arts: Live virtual dance, acting and visual art classes
  • Online Virtual Graduation and Awards Ceremony


BRASS APPLICANTS

Before you register for our Virtual Conservatory you will need to do a small self evaluation to determine which skill level you want to study. Click on the links below to find music for Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced skill levels. Once you determine which is best suited to you, you can complete the Virtual Conservatory registration form and select the appropriate level.
