Pet Food Assistance

The Salvation Army of High Point is excited to announce a new partnership with the Humane Society of the Piedmont.

Beginning Monday, April 30th, The Salvation Army of High Point will begin offering cat and dog food to eligible clients through a new partnership with the Humane Society of the Piedmont during normal food pantry hours.

Antoine Dalton, Director of Social Services at The Salvation Army of High Point explains, “This is a great opportunity to provide assistance to pet owners who need help caring for their animals. After all, pets are considered part of the family! Everyday, we see families who are struggling, but still embracing their responsibilities as caregivers to their animals. We are so grateful for the partnership with the Humane Society of the Piedmont, especially now that we are able to provide assistance for pets when families come to us for food assistance.”

For food pantry hours or how to apply for assistance, please call The Salvation Army of High Point at 336-881-5400.
