Pickens & Oconee Counties Prepare Service Plans for COVID-19

The Salvation Army of Pickens County Service Plan for COVID-19

In light of recent national and state developments, The Salvation Army of Pickens County is taking necessary precautions to ensure the safety of our neighbors and our staff.

For the month of March, our service center will not host any volunteers or meetings with outside organizations. We will not provide in-person social services for the month of March. We will provide a limited amount of emergency services to community members who require immediate assistance. If you would like to apply for our emergency assistance, call our office (864-855-7198) and leave a message providing your name, phone number and nature of your immediate/emergency need. All emergency assistance requests will be received as voicemail; this will allow us to organize incoming requests by date/time of contact. We will return all phone calls and attempt to process approved assistance over the phone.

The Salvation Army of Oconee County Service Plan for COVID-19

The Salvation Army of Oconee County will continue to provide services at this time. In order to best serve our clients (many of whom are vulnerable to or at-risk of infection), the Oconee County Service Center will provide assistance by appointment only. Appointments will be staggered one hour apart to allow us time to sanitize the office between visits and ensure minimal social contact. If you arrive early and find the door locked, we may be serving the client before you or cleaning our space. Please call 864-882-1160 for more information.

Thank you for your patience as we try our best to serve each need.
