The Salvation Army School of Music and Arts

The Salvation Army School of Music and Arts of Greensboro, NC is an intensive program for young people wishing to develop and further their musical talents. There are three quarters during the school year: the Fall Quarter (September – November), the Winter Quarter (January – March), and the Spring Quarter (March-May). Each quarter is approximately 10 weeks long and meets twice a week after school. In the summer, The Salvation Army School of Music and Arts holds a Summer Day Camp that is a seven weeks long.

Who May Attend

The Salvation Army School of Music and Arts Summer Day Camp 2018 is open to students ages 8 - 13.

All of The Salvation Army School of Music and Arts classes will take place at The Salvation Army Greensboro, Corps building, located at 1001 Freeman Mill Road Greensboro, NC 27406

Instruments are available for each student attending The Salvation School of Music and Arts. Students are allowed (and encouraged) to take their assigned instrument home after a period of time and dedication, while they are a part of the program. Of course, if the student owns their own instrument, they are more than welcome to use it, but it is their responsibility and The Salvation Army will not be liable if it is stolen or damaged.

The weekly student rate is $50.00 per week. This includes lunch and one snack daily. Fees are not pro-rated for absences or family vacations.


Registration is accepted on a space available, first-come, first-served basis. The payment of a $25.00, non-refundable, registration fee is due to hold your child’s spot for the program. This is due when the application is turned in.Your registration and space in the program is not confirmed until payment is made. Students removed from the program are NOT eligible for any refund.
