Boys & Girls Clubs
The Boys & Girls Club provides youth development opportunities between ages of 6 and 18. Our goal is to maximize the potential of each child we interact with by engaging them in a balanced program that provides academic enrichment, social engagement and structured recreational outlets.
Volunteers will be used provide:
Volunteer Tutor– Provide one on one homework help to Club members that are in need, assist with group homework time known as Power Hour answering questions or directing Club members to resources that will aid in the completion of assignments, research papers and/or projects.
Program Assistant – aid staff with delivery of program through preparation and or program facilitation, assist with Club member supervision during program transition which may include rest-room and water breaks; Club members going from one program area to another.
Membership Clerk – Answer phone; take and relay messages; check in members; greet persons entering the building; clerical support and maintain check in area.
Youth Sports Coach – supervise and or oversee youth sports leagues under the direction of the Recreation / Athletics Director.
Volunteer Orientations will be scheduled twice a month upon submission and clearance of background check.
