The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of Greensboro is joining with over 4,000 other clubs nationwide to observe National Boys & Girls Club Week.
The week celebrates the important role Boys & Girls Clubs play in helping nearly 4 million young people each year to achieve great futures.
The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of Greensboro dates back to 1938 and today serves over 1500 children and youth from ages 6 to 18 across four different locations within the city of Greensboro. Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.
This year’s National Boys & Girls Club Week theme is “Open the Door. Take the Tour.” While you are always invited to come over and take a tour of The Salvation Army and the Boys and Girls Club, this week we’re going to be opening the door for you here online to get a glimpse of how lives are being changed at the club each day. Stay tuned!
