The Salvation Army After-School Care Program
January starts a new semester of school, and for many that may bring some changes along with it. We are excited to say that we have a solution for your after-school care needs! Our After-School Care Program meets the many needs and wants of both parents and students in our area. Boys and girls ages 5 to 12 years old are picked up from their schools by The Salvation Army bus and brought back to our Community Center. Once here, they participate in homework time, where they receive one-on-one tutoring from local well-qualified volunteers. Snack time proves to always be a favorite among the children. The afternoon is rounded out with free play and structured games, making sure that all areas of health are addressed. And at an affordable price, it's a win-win situation for parents and children alike!
