Assist the Community Relations Department with public relations, marketing, social media, event planning, etc. Working alongside the Community Relations Department (CRD), the PR Intern will assist with developing and implementing social media marketing strategies, volunteer recruitment through social media, news media, etc. and event planning. The PR Intern will assist with various tasks as assigned by the CRD.
The Salvation Army Family Thrift Store retail management program is designed to strengthen leadership skills and allow students to experience a career in both a retail management and non-profit management position.
Organize and implement a physical education and Teen Club program in The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club. This would include creative programming ideas for athletic programming and healthy lifestyles. A knowledge of major sports is required. You must be able to pass a background check for this position, and be available during the evenings and on weekends.
