Come join us for our 2021 Summer Day Camp program at The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs of Davidson County. Our summer day camp will be offered for kids of grade levels K-8 and consist of numerous educational and fun opportunities such as daily bible devotions, reading and STEM games, poetry, public speaking, sports competitions, air hockey, foosball, billiards, bingo, and scouting. It will also offer optional offsite field trips according to the Covid19 safety guidelines set by CDC and local health officials. Examples include science museums, zoos, nature farms, swimming, miniature golf, skating, and baseball games.
Activity trips had been on hold over the past year to limit many of the health risks associated with Covid19. In an effort to minimize many of these risks, the Club staff put together a plan of action to help ensure that summer campers will be able to get out and explore fun places this summer, while still practicing safe strategies to limit the exposure and spread of Covid19. Included in the safety plan are steps such continued mask wearing and hand washing throughout the day, temperature readings twice a day, sanitizing hands before loading buses, routine sanitation of bus seats, spaced out bus seating, and more.

Ages: 5-14 years old (or K-8 grades)
Dates: June 7th - August 12th (10 weeks) (We will be closed June 18th, July 5th, and August 13th)
Hours of Operation: 7:15am - 5:15pm, Monday - Friday
Membership Cost: New enrollments pay a 2021 $15 membership fee
Field Trip/Activity Cost: Parents will be informed in advance of any potential field trips with their costs included in the announcement. Our prior year field trips usually averaged around $1-$5 per child.
Program Cost: $400 for entire summer (10 weeks)
We are offering the following payment plan (per child)
1st $200 Installment due before or by June 4th (or upon start date)
2nd $200 Installment due before or by July 2nd (or upon start date)
***Early Bird Discount price of $360 given if entire summer paid in full by May 21st***
-At this time, we are asking that all summer payments to be made over the phone with credit/debit cards to limit person-to-person cash/check transactions.
Scholarship Aid: A scholarship rate application will be available to all parents to need financial assistance. Proof of household income and expenses must be provided in order to be eligible for a scholarship rate. This information will be reviewed by our administration department to determine whether the scholarship rate is approved.

Steps to Sign Your Child up for our Summer Day Camp:
1) Call our staff at 336-472-7800 ext. 1 to add your child's name to the 2021 Summer Day Camp Enrollment List.

2) Please download this application, then print, fill it out completely, and submit it back to our staff team.
