Davidson County Kitchen Expansion Project 2021
As part of our recent community announcement regarding the relocation of the homeless shelter to the property adjacent to The Salvation Army, The Salvation Army is excited to announce the expansion our current kitchen and feeding facility to accommodate the food services for the new shelter and its clients. The new Salvation Army expansion will also be used as a white flag shelter in emergency weather situations when the shelter may be full.
To accommodate this feeding increase, we will be adding an additional 1,800 square feet to our current building to be able to increase our feeding program from 60 to 250 people a day, seven days a week.
We are currently soliciting donations for our $600,000 expansion project. We have currently received $250,000 from supporting community members and we need you and your contributions for the final $350,000.
Your support is needed now more than ever in this community effort to help those in most need. Giving is as easy as a click of a button. No donation is too big or to small and 100% of all donations are applied to this building expansion.
“Doing The Most Good” has never been so easy.
