Hope is Greater than Fear

The Salvation Army is actively caring for the people who are most vulnerable to COVID-19 throughout the Carolinas. Whether you need help or have some help to give, we are here for you.

DO YOU NEED HELP?

The Salvation Army is helping provide services in response to community needs across the Carolinas.

Meeting Human Needs in Jesus' Name

Whether you need essentials like food, household items and water, or know someone who does, The Salvation Army is here to support you. We will work diligently to help connect you with the things you need during this difficult time.

We are providing services based on the needs of our communities so the most up-to-date and accurate information can be found by contacting your local office.

Other Resources

We want to connect you to some other resources to help you stay safe and well during this time.

TAKING CARE AT OUR FACILITIES

The Salvation Army throughout the Carolinas is working with local government and health authorities, including federal partners like FEMA, CDC, DHS, and HHS. We are quickly and carefully implementing new protocols to keep our residents, volunteers, employees, and those that depend on our programs and services safe. We will continue to serve our communities during this time.

MEETING AN INCREASED NEED

We are anticipating a significant increase of need for emergency assistance for those facing layoffs due to COVID‑19. The support we provide – rent/mortgage, utility, and food assistance, among others – will become more urgent as the situation evolves.

We need support from our communities to continue to meet the daily needs of these vulnerable populations. Your donations will help us continue to respond to the situation.

OUR WORK ACROSS THE CAROLINAS

At our facilities and in communities around the Carolinas, we have been working tirelessly to continue to bring hope to those that need it most during this difficult time. Read about some of the ways that we have been helping below.
