The Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina Donates $5,000 to Feeding Program!

The Salvation Army of the Midlands recently received a $5,000 grant from the Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina to support our feeding program in 2019 at Transitions! This grant will help us to continue to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner every day to the homeless and hungry here in Columbia.

The Sisters of Charity Foundation is a ministry of the Sisters of Charity Health System. Since 1996, the Foundation has been addressing the root causes and effects of poverty in South Carolina strategically, using their own resources to reduce poverty through action, advocacy and leadership.

The Sisters of Charity Foundation have contributed $61,600 to support Salvation Army programs since 1997. We are thankful for the continued partnership and the focus on building strong community relations exemplified by the Sisters of Charity Foundation.
