The foundation focuses its investments in organizations that serve people who want to make a better life for themselves and their families through education and hard work.
In these unsettling times, we look to the young people of this country to provide hope for the future. That is one reason that the local Boys & Girls Clubs are so crucial to the destiny of our city. These young people will help determine if Charlotte will be a world-class city – a place that provides opportunity for all its citizens.
The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Charlotte has been awarded a grant for $60,000 to provide temporary remote learning support for working families in our community. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Charlotte provides 6 remote learning sites serving more than 200 children who need a safe place to participate in remote learning.
