Salvation Army Center of Hope
Community Based Substance Abuse Treatment for Women
To help chemically addicted homeless women, Mecklenburg County has partnered with The Salvation Army Center of Hope shelter to provide a Community Based Substance Abuse Treatment (CBSAT) program to women at the shelter. CBSAT offers on-site intensive substance abuse treatment with little to no wait before admission. The program is approximately 42 days in length. Services include assessment and referral, individual and group therapy, case management services, life skills training, aftercare and exposure to 12-step recovery support groups in the community.
