National Pawn Funds New Tech Center for Charlotte Boys & Girls Club Students

Yesterday was an exciting day at our Marsh Road Boys & Girls Club. National Pawn outfitted our technology center with 10 new desktop computers to replace antiquated ones, which were more than a decade old and not very functional for our members.

​In a few short weeks, campers from The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Charlotte will gather at Salvation Army Camp Walter Johnson. They will kiss their loved ones goodbye and climb on a bus headed for a week of building lifelong friendships, reconnecting with nature, and participating in action-packed activities that help them face challenges, develop confidence, and learn valuable life lessons.

​The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs in Union County announced the winner of its 2017-18 Youth of the Year competition – Tamya Austin – on March 29 at a special breakfast event. The Youth of the Year competition in Union County goes to the one who embodies the core values the Clubs represent.
