31st Annual Festival of Tables to Raise Funds to Create Opportunity for At-Risk Students and Families Experiencing Homelessness

On May 2, 2019, The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary, will host its annual Festival of Tables events to raise support to address key issues our community faces, such as economic mobility and family stability. In its 31st year, the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary’s Festival of Tables event, has raised more than $1 million for critical needs in Charlotte.

The Festival of Tables is a premier interior design event bringing together Charlotte’s top designers to display creative “tablescapes.” The event includes a silent auction and a luncheon featuring Sonja Nichols. Nichols is a respected local business and civic leader and founder and CEO of Nicholant Enterprises. She serves on the board of the Women’s Impact Fund and is president of Good Friends Charlotte.

Funds raised at the Festival of Tables will provide college scholarships for at-risk youth at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Charlotte and support The Salvation Army’s Pathway of Hope program, which is a concentrated effort to help homeless families step out of poverty.

The event will be held at The Sheraton Hotel (555 S McDowell St) from 10am-1pm. Tickets are available for purchase online for $55. For more information, visit www.salvationarmycharlotte.org/fot
