Meeting Schedule
Monthly meetings of the Women’s Auxiliary are generally held on the 3rd Thursdays of the month during the months of September through May at 12:00pm at the Church located at 223 S. 3rd Street.
It is the purpose of the Women’s Auxiliary to assist The Salvation Army with their projects and with any of The Salvation Army activities in the community. One of the primary purposes of the Auxiliary is to organize ways to raise money for unfunded and/or unexpected expenses that arise during the year at the Salvation Army. In addition to raising funds, the Women’s Auxiliary helps provide volunteers for The Salvation Army projects during the Christmas season and throughout the year as the need arises.
Membership
Although The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary is not a social organization, the interaction that takes place in planning and working together on various committees and fundraisers provides good Christian fellowship, generates joy and laughter and forms many lasting relationships.
