An Update from Orangeburg

An update from Orangeburg, SC • Oct 8, 2016.

As Hurricane Matthew continues to cause problems for the Carolinas, The Salvation Army is actively responding, serving those people that most need our help during this time. In many places across the state, we are serving meals to evacuees and first-responder staff members.

In Orangeburg, SC, our service includes providing food and water for a one of the only shelters in town that has a generator backup. This shelter is specialized in that its clients are individuals who are more complicated medical issues or other specialized treatment needs.

As always, the work that The Salvation Army is able to do is a direct reflection of the support from neighbors just like you! Thank you for all that you do to help serve those impacted by Hurricane Matthew.
