Homelessness is a problem that The Salvation Army has chosen to tackle head on. Each and every day, throughout the Carolinas, our staff and volunteers are working to provide shelter for those that need it most.
From October 2012 through September 2013 and thanks to the generosity of our donors and supports, The Salvation Army was able to provide over 390,000 nights of shelter representing thousands of individuals. When people have no where else to turn, The Salvation Army is here and ready to help.
More than just providing shelter, though, we help people with special programs and classes designed to empower our residents, to improve the quality of their lives and the lives of their families. Some of the residents in our programs even give back by volunteering with us.
When you partner with The Salvation Army, you make a lasting impact on the lives of real individuals. Thanks for all you do in helping to end homelessness in the Carolinas.
