$100,000 Grant from Thomas Built Buses

Thomas Built Buses presented The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of High Point with a $100,000 grant to improve the lives of children by funding STEM Summer Day Camp programming, making facility upgrades, and expanding current youth sports initiatives.

Through the funding from Thomas Built Buses, The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of High Point has extensive plans to develop larger Afterschool and STEM Summer Day Camp programs to foster an even more creative, fun, and integrative learning environment for the students who attend their programs all year round. The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club also plans to renovate their gymnasium floor in order to improve and expand their current Victory Sports Leagues, which teaches every youth participant basic game fundamentals and the value of sportsmanship and teamwork.

The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of High Point is extremely thankful to receive this grant from Thomas Built Buses and for the opportunity to continue helping more youth in the greater High Point community have a safe place to learn, grow, and play!
