The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs of Asheville & Buncombe County offer engaging, age appropriate, evidence-based programming to youth in our own backyards.
We offer our youth a safe place to learn and grow and develop ongoing relationships with caring adults. We engage in life-enhancing programs and character development experiences that bring hope, joy, opportunity to our kids.
OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH THE SALVATION ARMY
For more than a century, Boys & Girls Clubs have helped put young people on the path to great futures. For over 50 years now, The Salvation Army and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have teamed up in the promotion of youth development services in the United States. For many of those years, this association existed principally on local and regional levels. Both organizations are now national in scope, each having substantial responsibilities to communities all across our nation. Through this partnership, more than 4 million boys and girls have been served in over 3,400 Club locations throughout the country.

The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs of Asheville & Buncombe County have been at the forefront of youth development, working with young people of all backgrounds, ethnicities and life experiences. We serve youth from all walks of life and dedicate ourselves to those who are vulnerable and often marginalized. We are dedicated to ensuring that our community's kids and youth have greater access to quality programs and services that will enhance their lives and shape their futures. Our mission states that we are dedicated to providing effective services that allows a child or teen to achieve his or her maximum potential as a contributing member of the community.
