What is your department’s working hours? (Days/times) Monday – Thursday 8:30 AM- 4:00PM

What do we provide: Food/Clothing /Financial Aid (Lights and Rent when funding is available)/ Furniture (disaster victims)/Clerical Aid/Resources/ Mobile Markets/Christmas Assistance/Thanksgiving Aid and Back-to School Aid.

What are your department’s volunteer and supply needs? Volunteers are encouraged to call Michelle and they will receive notification when needs arise. Donations Needed

1.How does your department assist the public “And” How can the public assist your department? For the safety of clients and staff drive- up service is in place. Clients can call and speak to the social service case manager to schedule an appointment and upon arrival the social worker will come to the vehicle to complete the service. Some ways that you can help us do the most good is one, donating clothing and furniture goods to our Aiken location Salvation Army thrift stores for our burn-out clients. For your convenience we do offer a pick-up service ,to access this call 803-641-4141 and speak to the office assistant. Two, making financial contributions to our Aiken Salvation Army Financial Aid program to help us with our utility and rental fund program. These two great needs are where we are asked to serve more but come up short because of a lack of funding.

b.What do you enjoy most about providing assistance through your department?” Serving the people and helping to lift the heavy load.
