The Salvation Army Winston-Salem Area Command provides services in Davie, Stokes and Yadkin Counties.
In each community, the Salvation Army provides traditional emergency assistance such as rent and utility payments, medicine, and emergency lodging. In order to help residents avoid a secondary crisis, we also provide non-traditional assistance such as help with car repairs, insurance payments or daycare.
The Salvation Army is the primary provider of Christmas assistance to families in Yadkin County and League of Mercy is provided during the Holiday Season in all three centers of operation.
The Stokes County Service Center operates in conjunction with the Stokes County Department of Social Services, King Outreach Ministry and East Stokes Outreach Ministry.

Davie County appointments are set up through the Davie County Department of Social Services, on Mondays from 9 am to 4 pm.
Yadkin County appointments are set up through the Yadkin County Department of Social Services, on Tuesdays from 9 am to 12 pm.
