Give-A-Kid-A-Coat FORSYTH: November 4 through 19 (Sorting), November 21 and 22 (distribution)
In partnership with A Cleaner World, The Salvation Army collects and redistributes coats to children and adults. Volunteers sort coats and assist clients when they come to pick up a coat.
Christmas Kettles/Bell Ringers—Various Locations: November 7 through December 24, 10:00am to 8:00pm, Monday through Saturday.
Volunteers are needed to cover a red kettle bell ringing location for 10-hour time periods, (10--8) Monday through Saturday, at locations throughout the Winston-Salem and Forsyth County area. GREAT FOR GROUPS!
Battle of the Bells
During the week of December 1 through 6, Volunteer Teams battle for the honor of raising the most money at their kettle. Teams can be anything from families, to businesses, civic organizations, churches, really anyone willing to organize a team and commit to ringing the bell at a Salvation Army kettle for A few days.
The teams will be recognized on our website and in our social media.

Angel Tree Attendant—Hanes Mall: November 7 through December 8
A volunteer is needed each evening and weekend to supervise the adoption and return of sponsored gifts at the Angel Tree in Hanes Mall.
Christmas Center Set Up FORSYTH: November 24 through December 16, 8:30am to 8:00pm
Volunteers are needed to assist with the set up of toy shop, sorting Angel Tree gifts and packing toy bags for distribution.
Christmas Center - Distribution FORSYTH: December 17 through 20, 8:00am to 8:00pm
Groups or individuals escort clients through the Christmas Center to pick up their child’s toys and a family food box.
