Village Tavern (at Hanes Mall) is hosting its 8th annual Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 13th, 7:30AM – 10:00AM. This year, for the first time, proceeds from the Breakfast will be donated directly to The Salvation Army of Greater Winston-Salem.

Secret Santa to Arrive in Winston-Salem

On Monday, December 8 at 9:30 a.m., Santa will arrive early in Winston-Salem. This secret Santa is a local businessman who will make his first of several deliveries of hundreds of toys and over 200 bikes. Secret Santa will show up at The Salvation Army’s Christmas store located at 680 Peters Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC 27107.

The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs’ Career Skills Program Gives Awards

The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs of Winston-Salem are celebrating their 21st Annual Career Skills Program with a celebration banquet on and awards ceremony. The twelve week course, which began in January, teaches students the life skills needed to succeed beyond high school. The program is offered to 20 middle and high school students at The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs in Winston-Salem. Some of the weekly topics included how to plan for college, write a resume, and find a job.
