The Salvation Army Rolls Out 30 Cars in 30 Days Campaign

Salvation Army commands across the Piedmont Triad are teaming up with Ford dealers in the Triad to collect 30 car donations during the month of July for its 30 Cars in 30 Days campaign. More than any other time of the year, the summer months bring a predictable slowdown in charitable contributions. Proceeds from the donated vehicles will help fund the life-changing programs and services provided to the community through The Salvation Army.

Vehicle donations can change lives:

$500 will help 5 individuals or families keep the lights on in their home for a month through our Emergency Assistance program.

$900 will provide 3 hot meals for a week to all the children living at our Center of Hope Family Shelter.
$1400 will send 17 children to summer camp for a week at our Boys & Girls Club this summer.

$2000 will provide 160 nights of shelter for someone experiencing homelessness at our Center of Hope.

Car donations can be made during the month of July at participating Triad-area Ford dealers. All donations are tax-deductible. Boats and RVs are accepted also.

When you are ready to donate . . .

All you need is your keys, your title and your car. Take them to your nearest Ford dealer and the dealership will take care of all the details. You will receive a letter of receipt for your taxes. If proceeds from your donation exceed $500, we will mail you a complete IRS Form 1098-C that will serve as the receipt for your charitable deduction.

If you have any questions in regards to your donation, please contact us at 336.723.6366.

Donations are tax-deductible. Boats and RVs are also accepted.

If you live outside of Forsyth County, please contact your local Salvation Army for details.
