Freeing Individuals Gripped by Human Trafficking
The Salvation Army of Wake County provides case management for victims of human trafficking, and works to generate education and awareness about human trafficking in the Community. Be apart of the FIGHT against human trafficking. Become a volunteer!
Project FIGHT Club: Project FIGHT Club is a group of dedicated volunteers and community members that want to become more involved in the local FIGHT against human trafficking. Project FIGHT Club members attend (one hour) monthly meetings to learn more about different topics related to human trafficking in our area, and help Project FIGHT staff to plan, organize, and carry out community events or campaigns. Learn more here.
Request an Awareness Event or Training: Think your staff, organization, church, or group would benefit from an educational event or training? Contact us or learn more about event and training options here.
We can customize based on demographic (age, language, setting).
S.O.S. Sponsor Our Survivors: Sponsors are matched with a specific survivor and provide financial support covering certain needs of the survivor. Sponsors are able to interact indirectly with the survivor through updates from the survivor’s Salvation Army case manager and occasional opportunities to send cards or small care packages to the survivor. Learn more here.
Client Kits: Prepare kits for victims in our Project FIGHT Program that have just been rescued from human trafficking.
Email Volunteer Coordinator for a list of suggested items.
Youth Volunteer Opportunities: Althought volunteers in Project FIGHT Club must be 18, we want to get youth involved in this effort! Contact us for ways that youth can FIGHT against human trafficking.
