Learn more about Project CATCH

Project CATCH started in 2011 thanks to the help of local partners and funding. The program works with 11 homeless shelter and programs in the area to ensure that they are able to correctly identify and address the needs of children in their care. In Wake County alone there are approximately 5,000 children ages 0-18 experiencing homelessness, with 2,700 of them being school aged. Learn more about Project CATCH and how you can help ==>

Shelter Wish List

The Salvation Army’s Judy D. Zelnak Center of Hope location includes the Barbara L. Goodmon Women & Children's Shelter that serves an average of 80 per day. One of our goals is to provide each woman that comes to building a welcome kit to help them transition into their new “home.”
