Lieutenant Ann Hawk is the Salvation Army officer (pastor) at The Salvation Army in Iredell and Wilkes counties. Lieutenant Hawk grew up in Hawkinsville, GA and graduated in 2000 from Georgia Southern University with Bachelor in Business with a major in Information Systems. In 2012 she was ordained and commissioned from Evangeline Booth College where she earned a BA in Practical Ministries. Her journey with The Salvation Army began in 2005 through the Celebrate Recovery program. Today, the focus of her ministry is on healing and wholeness in the community.

“I understand the people and the community that we serve—I have been through many of the same experiences,” says Lt. Hawk. “I understand what it is like to feel hopeless and like no one cares. The Salvation Army was there when I needed hope and I am grateful to be part of an organization that provides the same hope through the love of Christ to others.”
