Youth Programs
helping youth find their full potential

"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity."  1 Timothy 4:12

Children and their families are very important to The Salvation Army. We are dedicated to providing a loving, safe and structured environment to help each child reach his or her potential and succeed in life. A wide range of activities take place at our Statesville Corps and in Mooresville and are open to all children and families regardless of race or religious background.

Club 316 (ages 5 and up)
Many children benefit from involvement in Girl Scouts, Brownies, Cub Scouts, or Boy Scouts. Club 316 is similar to these programs which offer character building activities. The Salvation Army equivalents are Girl Guards, Sunbeams, and Adventure Corps. These programs are Biblically based and aim to educate children in making good choices and becoming leaders.
