About The Salvation Army of Iredell and Wilkes Counties

Our Mission
The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical, protestant denomination of the Christian church, with beliefs that are in line with mainstream Christian theology. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is movitated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

“Doing the Most Good.” The Salvation Army  makes this promise to the community—that we will do the most good with the time, gifts, and prayers entrusted to us. To feed, to clothe, to comfort, to care. A lifeline in a struggling economy and community.

Since 1927, The Salvation Army of Iredell County has fulfilled the mission to “Do the Most Good” as we help our neighbors in need with their basic needs of food, clothing and shelter, while also feeding and nurturing the spirit of a hurting community.
