BB&T Helps Residents Transitioning to Permanent Housing

The Salvation Army of Greenville is so thankful for BB&T for their extremely generous donations!  Employees donated a room full of essentials for men who are completing the rehabilitation program and are preparing to transition to permanent housing.  The donations included cleaning supply kits, sheets, blankets, pots and pans, ironing boards, kitchen tools and laundry detergent.  These are things that we often take for granted, but for men who are truly starting from scratch, they can provide the first steps to the start of a new life. These donations provide a much needed reminder that they are not alone and that the community wants to see them succeed.

“We are so thankful to BB&T for this blessing,” said Major Kent Davis.  “The men completing the rehabilitation program will be so thrilled to receive this help as they start a new life.”
