Inaugural "Signature" Event Makes Huge Impact

The Salvation Army of Greensboro serves more than 22,000 people in the Greater Greensboro area. For the first time ever, the inaugural Signature Event showcased the overall narrative of The Salvation Army of Greensboro through compelling imagery and interactive elements. The Signature Event brought the city of Greensboro together to celebrate “Doing The Most Good.” This “friend/fundraiser” will took place at the Proximity Hotel on Thursday April 20th. This was a non-profit event unlike any other, The Salvation Army “took over” the Proximity Hotel. The night consisted of live music entertainment, an interactive art display, a gallery, photo booth, and curated culinary masterpieces by Executive Chef Leigh Hesling of Print Works Bistro and Green Valley Grill. Dennis and Nancy King Quaintance of Quaintance-Weaver Hotels and Restaurants were honored as Signature Advocates for “Doing The Most Good” in the city of Greensboro. Dennis Quaintance kicked off the event by speaking at the Signature VIP Breakfast on April 18th at The Salvation Army Royce and Jane Reynolds Center for Worship and Boys & Girls Club. As Mr. Quaintance said himself, “Who said The Salvation Army ain’t fun?” Over 500 were in attendance for the Signature Event and over $140,000 was raised to continue the impact of The Salvation Army in Greensboro!
