A result of a merger of the Citadel Corps and Southside Corps, the Washington Park Corps resides in the historic Washington Park neighborhood and in the midst of the newly emerging Southeast Gateway to downtown Winston-Salem.
The Corps employs a full-time Program Director for its various ministries to all age groups. Services provided include Ladies' Home League, Men's Fellowship Club and a seniors program for anyone 55 and older in Forsyth County. Also located at the Corps is the Salvation Army Music & Arts Academy that teaches weekly lessons during the school year and runs a summer day camp.
Led by Lieutenants Robert and Wanda Long, the Washington Park Corps has a bright future in a community of diversity and growth.
