The Salvation Army Combats Natural Disasters With Acts of God.

Give securely online or by or by calling 1-800-SAL-ARMY (1-800-725-2769). You can also text Text the word “STORM” to 80888 to make a $10 donation through your mobile phone; to confirm, respond with “Yes.”

The Salvation Army of Winston-Salem gladly forwards 100% of your donation. You can mail a check to Post Office Box 1205, Winston-Salem, NC 27102. Please indicate on your check where you wish your donation to go.

A $10 donation feeds a disaster survivor for one day. A $30 donation provides one food box, containing staple foods for a family of four, or one household cleanup kit. A $100 donation can serve snacks and drinks for 125 survivors and emergency personnel at the scene of a disaster. A $250 donation can provide one hot meal to 100 people or keep a hydration station operational for 24 hours. A $500 donation keeps a Salvation Army canteen (mobile feeding unit) fully operational for one day.

Helps us Meet the Challenge of collecting 30 Cars in 30 Days. Money raised from your vehicle donation will support The Salvation Army’s critical local programs throughout the year and will change lives . . .  

$500 can help 5 individuals or families keep the lights on in their home for a month through our Emergency Assistance program.

$1000 can send 10 children to summer camp for a week at our Boys & Girls Club this summer.

$1500 can provide 800 meals to be served from our mobile feeding kitchen in the midst of a local, regional or national disaster.

$2000 can provide 160 nights of shelter for someone experiencing homelessness at our Center of Hope.
