The economy may be rough and the political atmosphere poisonous, but somehow around this time of year people manage to look past their own concerns and demonstrate that generosity is alive and well. Evidence of that charitable spirit is easy to see at the vacant store that’s housing this year’s Salvation Army Christmas distribution center.
