William & Rob & the New Fence

The Family Store on Lee St. has a new fence.  The project was done by Mr. William Johnston for his Eagle Scout Community Service Project.  William is the son of Mr. Robert Johnston, Salvation Army Advisory Board Member.

The project involved removal of the old 2-rail wooden fence and replacing it with a PVC 3-rail fence. The new fence is 170' in overall length, including posts. He also painted the existing metal gates.

The overall cost of the project was: $1259.50 in materials labor furnished by Mr. W. Johnston's scout troop. Site supervision was administered by Salvation Army personnel and by the employees of Johnston Properties.

The fence has added so much to the appearance to our Family Store on Lee St.; not only was it beautifully done, but it will be here for many years to come.

Thank you very much William!
