The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs of Greensboro presented a check to Captain Jonathan Poff this morning to be used for the rebuilding of the children's orphanage in Port-Au-Prince Haiti.
The 6 clubs in Greensboro collected money through the Children Helping Children program and presented a check in the amount of $6,427.46 to Captain Jonathan Poff. Captain Poff's brother, Captain Bob Poff is The Salvation Army's Director of Disaster Services for Haiti.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greensboro is ready to begin their next fundraising project raising funds to send Malaria nets to third world countries. We are very proud of the committment of the clulb members to help other children.
